The venue is great and you can do the creepy tour of the convent. The menu unfortunately does not match the venue it is more of a cafe serving burgers etc. Good but not great
This a beautiful building that has been tastefully adapted into a coffee shop area and a gift shop in amongst an art gallery. A nice way to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon.
A lovely cafe within the walls of The Convent Gallery. Stop and have a bite to eat before or after visiting the galleries. We 'only' had tea and scones but they were definitely worth stopping for. Large, fresh and warm served with clotted cream and jam!
We had brunch at the Bad Habit Cafe in the Convent Gallery which is beautiful. The cafe is situated in a glass conservatory at the side of the Convent, the outlook is breathtaking and our food was quite possibly the best brunch we had ever had. My partner had the special of the day Pulled Pork Benadict and I had the Smashed Avocado served with poached egg, feta and roasted seeds and nuts! Both dishes were a piece of art just in their presentation and they tasted just as good as they looked! We returned in the afternoon to try the scones, as we had been told they are pretty good, and they didn't disappoint! We would defiantly return if ever in the area again, and would have no hesitation in recommending this beautiful place. The two staff members were extremely friendly and helpful.
