Taqueria Mexicana El Paso

I really liked this little restaurant. It is located in the commercial side of Hendersonville and it is much better to eat here than in all these stables and generic food chains. The food is prepared with care and delicacies and there is a section where you can help yourself to some excellent sauces, including grilled jalapeños. I recommend it for lunch.

Excellent service and AMAZING FOOD! During our visit to Tennessee, we decided to grab a bite and were so glad we did. If I lived in the area, I would definitely return. If you're a local and haven't discovered this restaurant yet, you should definitely give it a try. The portion sizes are generous, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable.

I experienced some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. While I didn't recognize many items on the menu, I tried the Fajita Taco Salad with chicken, which was fantastic and more than I could finish. I will definitely stop by again when I’m back in Hendersonville.

This casual eatery offers authentic lunch specialties priced between $7 and $9. You order at the counter and take your food to your table. There's a spice bar that allows you to personalize your $2.39 tacos with cilantro, onions, salsa, grilled jalapeños, and guacamole. While the Cabeza (braised beef head) was slightly dry, the pastor (pork) was quite tasty. The portion sizes are on the smaller side, so you'll likely need at least four tacos if you're feeling hungry.

Fast, affordable and authentic. We considered a quick bite of food and appreciated the very fast service and the freshness of the preparation of every meal. It's a small place, but it's really cozy. Definitely recommend checking it for a fast bite and good authentic Mexican foods....also for the Salsa Bar!
