Oh, my goodness and goodness! I got the red beans and rice and the gumbo for dinner yesterday. It is ABSOLUTELY delicious. As from Louisiana, this is the BEST Gumbo and red beans/rice that I had in every dining place!!!

The best downtown cafe. Sweet ladies. Eating always fresh. Delicious. I always command the same thing. Yum so fresh and a decent price. Go back to the fat fast food chains. They are not condemned

This is my favorite lunch place in Henderson. Consistent quality, friendly employees, pleasant environment. Basically the menu is just really good soups and sandwiches , and some good homemade cakes, so it's not the place to go to get a heavy lunch of fried chicken or a cheeseburger, etc.
