El Rincon Dominicano - Hempstead

I was around the Hempstead area and i always prefer a Dominican place for the tasty food they make. This place have good food but the service is the worst. I asked a question to the girl in the counter, i thought she was going to give me a slap. They make faces if you ask any question. They should get new people only to give a better service. Must have if you are in the Hempstead area. Busy corner location with few spots of single seating inside. This is the only place I will order pernil! I ordered the baked chicken lunch with rice, beans, plantains and vegetables on this particular day. I was happy to see they had Manzana which I brought home for my son. Food is always fresh, delicious, reasonably priced, big portions and service is quick. A line forms during lunch hours so go early! This has been my goto for Mangu evey Saturday. But the cook must have changed. The quality of the orders have been decreasing. Today's order was out right offensive. The eggs were hard boiled, the cheese was almost black and tasted like the meat. The mangu was cold and tasted like it was sitting out. Who is allowing food to go out that way?
