Bidrage med feedbackI didn't have high expectations after reading some previous reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised with our dining experience. The food was delicious and well-presented, the service was good, and we had a enjoyable evening overall. The service was a bit slow, but understandable given the busy atmosphere and the training of a new waitress. This actually gave us time to chat between courses. We had a great night and will definitely be coming back soon.
The food at this restaurant, which used to be excellent, now seems average. The chips were soggy and lacking in flavor, while my husband's fried chicken was not actually fried. However, the stuffing was tasty, but there was very little of it. Due to understaffing, we had to repeatedly ask for the bill and eventually had to go to the bar to pay. It's disappointing that the quality of the restaurant has decreased. Additionally, our table reservation was not recorded.
We have eaten at the fisheries on many occasions and it has never let us down been an excellent experience every time.
When I booked I specifically stated I needed a table suitable for a severely disabled lady on sticks. When we arrived we were given a table down steps which were difficult to negotiate. It was obvious this was going to be a problem, but was told there was nothing else. As we frequently take these elderly people out for lunch, we will not be returning here.
Late home and didn't want to cook, so we booked from the train (via OpenTable of course! . Excellent food and good service we will plan a return.
