Ølhus Stockholm - Helsinki

We usually go for a drink before the bridge play. You meet your friends and talk about every day politics and of course of bridge. Nice with a drink with friends.

I parked my car in Europark and had time for a drink before the bridge play. In stead of a beer I choice a grape long drink. My partner and another bridge player joined me. Nice.

The bar has good selection of beer; not outstanding but I got to try a few interesting ones while there. : I was there mid week afternoon and then the service was really good; I got suggestions and could discuss with the bartender. I can imagine it gets a bit crowded during evenings, though, as the place is quite small...

The staff was very nice but the doorman was rude and made us feel very uncomfortable. He actually told us not to sit comfortable on the bench. This place seems very easygoing... at least we tought so... I feel bad because otherwise the place seemed nice and had good selection of quality beers.

This used to be dark Czech pub called Hostina. I didn’t like that place that much. Now it’s a bit brighter but still quite small. At least on last Friday night it was too crowded to be enjoyable. Big Nordic breweries on taps. The new name Ølhus Stockholm is beyond my comprehension. Is it kind of witty mixture of Danish/Norwegian/Swedish? But I like the idea of Nordic pub in Helsinki. I also would like to taste their pølser.
