Koto - Helsinki

On our last night in Helsinki, we found a little Japanese restaurant around the corner from our hotel. The food was so delicious and perfectly authentic. Service was good, too. My husband had the yakiniku-don, which he raves about, and I had the Saba shioyaki meal. Everything was fresh and tasty.

Since last visit Koto had changed address, thus that was long time ago. The items in menu remembered me from menu in 1990's. But if it is not broken do not fix it. the traditional food was good stuff.

I love Japan and this restaurant is exactly reflect the soul of Japan! We would like to thank personnel for being so kind and professional. Food was amazing- homey and fresh. Now this is one of my favorite restaurants ever!<3

The food here is great. I had meat gyoza, miso soup and 12 pieces of sushi. I definitely recommend this place, it’s authentic, tasty and with good service.

The best sushi I’ve had in Helsinki. Just delicious. We were fighting for the last piece! They also ask you if you want wasabi in your nigiri/maki rolls before they make them which is very nice. Not all are wasabi lovers like me.
