There are two doors in there, you have to enter the first door, make sure it's closed, ring the bell and then wait for a waiter to open for you. This is so that the cats don't escape. 2. You have to take your shoes off at the cafe, bring comfy socks! As for the actual review: Amazing place and lovely cats, it was such a nice experience. The prices are quite high and you might not be able to pet the cats (you can't and shouldn't when they're sleeping, because that's too stressful for them . The place is quite small so I'm not sure if it's a good idea to bring an energetic child there, especially that they might chase the cats around. The food took a while to get ready but it was really great, I ordered the helkatti tapas plate and it was delicious. The menus are in both English and in Finnish and the waiter speaks good English and was nice, we were given a small amount of free high quality cat food when we finished eating so that was nice! Also keep in mind the place is quite small so I'm not sure if it's a good idea to bring an energetic child there, especially that they might chase the cats around. Despite the drawbacks I think the place deserves 5 stars and is definitely a place you should visit if you're in Helsinki, the cats are really cute : Edit: They also have a bunch of books about cats in Finnish and English!!! It was so nice to check them out while waiting for the food. I think they're worth checking.
Very delightful place, staff speak English so foreigners will be just fine. Recommended to book a reservation since they're often at max capacity. There is also a 5 euro fee so that you can stay there even if you don't order anything The cats have their own places they can retreat when they've had enough of humans, and the staff make sure people know the rules and don't bother the cats. The menu is also great, but it isn't the focus. Didn't book a room so can't say about that, but a delightful place. There are sometimes kids here, but the few I saw were calm and I am pretty sure the staff will correct them if they bother the cats. Also, there are two rabbits here.
Really nice flat bread pizza and the simplicity of the children's menu is very good. The staff are friendly, helpful and hardworking. I'll be coming back many times to enjoy the good and company.
Cute little cat cafe, plenty of cats roaming around, friendly and sleepy. A nice relaxing environment to just hang out. The chai late and hot chocolate was decent and the cake was nice. Overall, very calming.
Extremely relaxed cat cafe. Cats and staff were very relaxed and easy going. It was nice to just sit here, petting a warm kitty and let time go by.
