Busted Sandal Beer Garden - Helotes

Very cozy. We tried the watermelon beer..you must try it!! The beer was nice and cold!!

Busted Sandal might be a bit tucked away in the shops at Old Town Helotes, but in building #5, we tried a 9-beer sampler for $20 and enjoyed tasting almost all of their selections. They have plenty of lovely outdoor seating and delicious beer—my favorites were the 210 watermelon beer and the tripel.

My husband and I liked the 210 and Finding Friday beer. The staff member that helped us was very cool and professional. We went to check it out as we are planning to take my brother soon. We grabbed a beer and sat outside. There was live music and tables were a good distance apart. We also tried the Vigo stout. I know my bro will definitely like that one.

This restaurant is easily my favorite spot in the area. The outdoor seating is consistently intimate and laid-back. You can enjoy food and ice cream just across the courtyard. They also have live music regularly, and on Wednesdays, you can get half-off drafts if you purchase their glass. What’s not to love? I'm almost reluctant to share this hidden gem, but it truly deserves some recognition.

Fun visit to the tap room in Old Town Helotes this weekend. The bartender was very friendly and came out to our table to see if we needed another beer. There is plenty of outdoor seating and the wine and coffee available at the shops next door are great for anyone in your group that doesn?t drink beer. A perfect spot for a drink in a relaxing atmosphere.
