Heidenroder Raststätte

In the shadow of a gas station I discovered this place as a child more than 10 years ago. Recently I went back there to convince myself: Here is the best carving in the world. You can believe me because I've eaten many chips in my life. Add beautifully spiced pommes and a nice staff. I travel more often in the Asian world and in general it is difficult to imitate European hospitality and our good food. But this is not the first place that is run by Indians and presents excellent German dishes. For me again and again a surprise.
