Mildner's - Heidelberg

We drove from London to Amsterdam, Amsterdam to Heidelberg. This was the best coffee on route and a delight to find. Staff are lovely.

Mildner's is a coffee place not unlike many others. But because of the atmosphere and the really nice people who work there, it is one of my favorites. Coffee: delicious. Breads and croissants: good. They also offer other breakfast things like yoghurt with fruit and...a nice selection of sandwiches. Seating is comfortable, inside or out. Recommend highly.

On the way great stop from main station to castle, nice coffee and hot chocolate. Well decorated in modern style.

This cafe is great. Very nice simple athmosphere, perfect if you wish to stop for coffee, rest, meet with friends, or get light European style lunch. Comfortable there are chiars and couches, newspapers. Coffee is exellent, healthy baguette sandwiches, couple types of salads, home...style natural yogurt with fresh fruit, and few options of bakery items including berlingers, doughnuts, and pretzels are a good selection for a lunch or another time light food option. The selection of baked items is not very extensive but good and it changes from day to day slightly. Note, this is not a bakery so they don't bake at the cafe. Yougurts, a good selection of baguette sandwiches, and salads are avaliable every day and their cream yougurt with apples and cacao is great.

This is a student style cafe with simple seating but comfortable. Wi is exellent. There are power outlets. Nice and friendly staff. just perfect if you need wifi and wish to work and enjoy good coffee. There are no cooked meals. except cakes. Coffee and...tea are exellent. Food selection is simple and not extensive but it is better that any regular snack type and there are healthy choices including couple salads. I spent hours at the cafe working on my laptop and making phone calls and enjoying coffee and food.
