Bidrage med feedbackWe sought recommendations at the local visitor center, where an employee mentioned Mountain Wellness, explaining that it had just recently opened, which is why it hadn't appeared on our search. Following the GPS directions, we parked along Main Street but realized the restaurant's entrance was actually on the opposite side of the building. To our surprise, there was also a small parking area accessible from a side street—though I regret not noting the street's name. Unfortunately, it was our last day in Utah before heading home, so we couldn't sample all their vegan meal options, as many needed to be ordered in advance. Despite the limited selection, everything we tried was absolutely delicious! We ordered a few vegan kale salads and Buddha bowls made to order, along with a bag of pre-packaged gluten-free vegan chocolate chip cookies, vegan chocolate almond milk sweetened with coconut sugar, and some of their cold-pressed green juices. I highly recommend this restaurant, but be sure to visit their website or call at least a day ahead to place an order and check on available vegan options. The need to order meals in advance was a bit unusual and unfortunate, but I suspect it relates to their weekly meal delivery service, which features a rotating menu. We arrived in the late afternoon, so there might have been more vegan grab-and-go meal options earlier in the day. However, when we were there, only one meal in the grab-and-go cooler was available, and it was not vegan. The atmosphere is casual, and as far as I can tell, there is no table service, which suited us just fine. The ingredients were clearly fresh, and the staff were very friendly. We waited about 15 minutes for our salads and Buddha bowls to be prepared, and they were definitely worth the wait and the price!
