Bidrage med feedbackWe ate here for the first time during Restaurant Week. My wife and I both chose the $39 3 course dinner plus wine paring, and deliberately made different choices from the menu, to taste the maximum number of dishes. The food was universally very good relatively simple preparations done well. However the amount of food was very small we were both thinking of things to munch on when we got home. The wine pairing (at $10/person) was exceptional! We were each of served three glasses (not full but substantial) of really good K J wines, which was a great value. The restaurant is very small, and the noise level was higher than I would have liked. Service was simply perfect. If only there was a little more food.
Our initial visit to the restaurant was fantastic with delicious food and good value on wine. We were looking forward to returning, especially on Valentine's Day hoping for an even more memorable experience. Unfortunately, the menu on this occasion was not as impressive compared to our first visit. The prices were significantly higher due to it being a holiday, but the food was lacking excitement. The regular menu featured lamb steak dishes, while the garden menu offered a bland salad and gnocchi. The highlight was likely the selection of wines available.
Our server, Greg, was truly exceptional. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the wine list and gave excellent advice on food pairings, making our dining experience both unforgettable and extraordinary. Additionally, every dish we tried was delicious and every glass of wine we sampled was exceptional.
Food and service were great. The choice of wine to pair with the food was great. It was both a fun meal and great experience.
Very accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly staff. With advance notice we managed to get a multi-course vegan dinner. Everything was delicious, the portions were just the right size, and the wine pairing was spot on. We especially enjoyed the creative use of mushrooms in more than one dish. I'd also like to mention that KJ has a great culinary garden at their tasting room in Santa Rosa, well-worth visiting, although I don't know if the restaurant in Healdsburg gets the produce from there.
