Five Star Chinese Resturant - Hazleton

Hello ALL! I am new to the area of Coaldale and decided to venture out for Mother's Day. My nephew and mom had been here and she asked to come back. The parking is plentiful. The bathrooms were clean. The ambience was bustling but not overly loud or annoying. Everyone was having a great time. The service was quick! And our server was attentive and always moving. There was no wondering where she was. It was a great experience. The food was outstanding! I was really surprised. It was REALLY GOOD! And all the food was fresh as they have the food line attendant with a microphone calling to the kitchen when something needs replenishing. Very VERY smart! The ambience in general was acceptable as it was busy but it was comfortable busy. I did see a few customers eating while waiting at the stir fry station and THAT annoyed me but it's not any fault of the restaurant it's the ignorance of the customer. The tables were comfortable too! The dessert station was also good. I encourage to come here with a friend or 6! I plan on making this grubbery a regular spot. Thanks for checking out my review. Does not look the least bit appealing on the outside. We are very skeptical about going in soon however, it was some of the best Chinese food I have had for quite a long time. Fresh food was constantly being brought out. My only qualm about this restaurant what is the price. It was $20 each. I guess the reason being it's because they do have crab legs on the Buffet. However, when they bring them out, they bring very few at a time and people scarf them right up. I was waiting in the line and they brought a very small amount out And I saw two men take all of them. That was last time I saw any crab at legs being brought out. Not fair and not a fair price if you don't get any crab legs there is no way this is worth $20 I had. There's a really good selection of dishes, including a sushi bar and hibachi. Will definitely go back.

Me and my grandmother used to come here all the time, idk about the service I they don't really serve you they just sit you down and give you drinks but we loved it the food is good and she loved the peanuts.

Always go here hungry cause there are so many options on the buffet. I always start with sushi, then clams. It's super hard to get the crab legs, as they only put a few out and they're gone. They do have a hibachi where you can select your meat, veggies and other staples. I always finish with ice cream.

Ate there once.Food was just fair,not the cleanest place.Selection was not as expansive as other Chinese buffets.
