Definitely the best sushi restaurant in the Hayward area. I get takeout every week. I am disappointed to say that Sushiland is not as good as it used to be. I'm not sure if there has been a change in ownership, but the food quality has definitely declined. I initially thought it was just an off night, so I gave it two more tries. Unfortunately, the fish tasted fishy, the unagi was tough, and overall it felt like a cheap meal. Even my husband, who usually gets a bento box, didn't finish his last meal there and left the tempura untouched. I hope they can improve their food quality soon, but in the meantime, I will be searching for a new sushi spot.
