Louie's Landing - Hayward

We were here once 7 years ago and waited a long time for our food. Thought it was a fluke so tried it again. Nope, not a fluke. Waited 60 full minutes for a party of 4 when there was only another party of 4 in the bar. That being said, food was hot. My AuJus was salty but every else?s food was great. Place is cute. Bartender was very pleasant. Small town feel. If you?re starving,don?t go here and if you do go, just know that waiting for your food is the norm. Would have given it more stars if it wasn?tfor the extreme wait.

Little city bar feels like it. Home cooked meals. Great atmosphere. Here twice in a snowmobile ride. Great place!

Delicious chili, Fri nite fish fry, and drinks! Great place to stop during a cool winter ride.

2 years ago we were staying at the rental cabin on the lake across from Louie's Landing and we were up there snowmobiling. It was an extremely cold weekend and the shackle mount on my snowmobile trailer broke. I told Jack about it Saturday night and on Sunday morning, in -10 degree weather, Jack got out some tools and a stick welder which allowed me to fix the trailer. Thank you Jack! Your bar is awesome, your food is great and your hospitality is even better!

We had perch fry on Friday night, and it was the best I've ever had! It wasn’t muddy or watery at all — very meaty with an amazing aroma. The coleslaw is excellent too! We absolutely love going there!
