Jollibee - Hayward

The service was extremely fast. I really enjoyed their spicy chicken with adobo rice, mashed potatoes with gravy, and pineapple juice.

The food was really the only thing that had any life in this restaurant. When I walked in, I was greeted nicely and the server took my order. However, the manager at the register acted more like a drill sergeant than a welcoming presence—his demeanor was cold and angry. The girl who was prepping the orders and calling out customers' numbers was also unapproachable. I said hello to her, but she ignored me completely. There was no smile or any sign of appreciation after I thanked her. I'm not expecting royal treatment, but a little basic friendliness would go a long way—just a smile, a laugh, and some eye contact. As for the chicken I received, it was two pieces that had once been whole thighs, cut in half. The bone in the center nearly caused me to choke.

The food is really quite good. I had a negative experience at the UC location a few years ago, but after trying this place again, I found everything to be quite tasty. I especially love their mango thirst quencher!

Worse customer service ever. I was with my mother who was on a wheelchair and we were the only customers. Both managers at the register were busy conversing and complete ignored us while the rest of the staff just glanced at us.

Well took my child here because I was hyping her up that Jollibee is a kid-friendly type of fast food. But now, drove hella far to come here just to learn there's no longer a kids menu toy. So there it goes. We ain't coming back for a 2nd visit. Wasted our time.
