Market Grill - Haymarket

We found this place by accident and Im glad we did, we ate upstairs, the waiter was friendly and polite and very accommodating, the meals were huge and the prices were cheap as, just what u would expect from a cheap pub meal ???? really enjoyed it we will be back!

All these bugs flying around few landed on my under cooked steak.told the female staff member about the bugs and said what can i do.i just left my food on the table and walked out terrible place

Place is full of bugs flying about. went to the bathroom bold staff member with glasses was chatting up my girlfriend really sleazy place.we wont be returning

Another cheap but tasteless pub on this section of George street.  $10 jug of Tiger or $12 meal deal with drink, it is good value. It doesn't have your usual cozy and warm pub feel as the venue has extremely high ceiling and is huge.  The random combination of wooden table/stools and couches sends confusing message if it is a pub or a bar? Anyone thinks this is how a pub is supposed to be, that person and this pub deserve each other..  The beers on tap are uninspiring VB, Calton Draught, XXXX, etc. I dread to think what the wine list looks like. We stopped here once hoping to find Asahi but apparently it is too sophisticated for this place.
