Bidrage med feedbackCame here for their lunch time set menu special. I had the spring roll and dimsim for entree, the Black Bean Beef with Fried Rice for main and was very satisfied with the portions. Nice day outside and like the outdoor area here watcing the hustle and bustle of the main strip! Definitely would come back as the service is good, the wait times reasonable and value for money is on point.
Had dinner here. Some menus weren't entirely to my personal tastes but otherwise food here is quite enjoyale and I had enjoyable experience. Overall, quite pleasant
Had yumcha here today. Sat inside cause it was freezing. Service was good. Lady standing out the front showed us to our table inside. We ordered tea and then waited for the yumcha. Garlic and prawn dumplings were the first dish we tried. They were steaming and delicious. Chicken wings also very nice and tasty. We then had other dishes such as prawn toast, scallop dumplings, prawn noodle things and more. We had to ask for some Chinese broccoli. The selection that came around wasn't very varied. So things like salt and pepper squid and veggies needed to be ordered seperate. Tea wasn't nice just abit off. Everything was pleasant here but not the best yumcha I've been too.
Before we went in my husband asked if it's a tourist trap. I answered no, having been there before for yum cha so we proceeded to go in (but I was wrong). The selection was poor on this occasion, the food was average (i.e what you would expect) but service was prompt. I also ordered a seafood congee and fried dough sticks. The bill came to just under $70 for 4 yum cha plates and the two extra items mentioned earlier. Of course, they charged for tea too. The seafood congee was a rip off at $24.80. There was two prawns, two scallops and some pieces of fish. I don't think I would be going back given the abundance of choices in the area.
ToFeedTwo were THAT HUNGRY and only THINKING WITH THEIR STOMACHS we forgot to take photos until we had basically demolished our meals!! So please excuse the lack of great photography.<br/ <br/ We had the springs rolls for entree (in our stomachs before we realised we didn't get a photo and for mains: Sweet and Sour Pork Szechuan Spiced Chicken, with a special fried rice. A decent, typical Chinese dinner with nothing bad or nothing special about it filled our hungry stomachs after a day of touring Sydney, that's for sure! No fuss, with good service :
