Dainty Dumpling House - Haymarket

My husband and I are vegetarians and had the fried eggplant, 7 aromas tofu, vegetarian rice and dumplings. Everything was delicious and not too spicy. We also had a dessert (in the picture) that was good enough. Grief Grief I do not realize the place with a 5, just because the staff was not very friendly, but everything else was nice. We definitely go again!

Eating satisfactory. Grief Employees are very poor in inviting Requires to develop friendliness and efficiency to serve a guest. Do not feel well at all. My husband and I always go to a restaurant and mostly the place we visited are excellent, but this place needs a lot of improvement .. PS: I do not understand why a waitress carries a phone with her on her back pants. An acceptable no standard and employees continue to speak, rather than come in our table to ask if we need something other than nothing. Definitely not recommended this place

What a great setup!  On the corner of Hay & Quay Street it's the perfect place just close enough to the hustle and bustle of Chinatown with just the right amount of distance for the perfect post-uni study session, break from trailing Sydney markets or an office get together.   Open modern setting with perfectly themed decor. The Chicken Dumplings with XO sauce were heavenly with minced and diced flavors of poultry, fungus and herbs followed by an explosion of the sauce.  Beautifully tied up into money bags this was a great introduction to the main. The Shandong Style Chicken is absolutely glorious.  Large portions and enough to to share if you choose!  On a bed of sweetened soy and cucumber the flavorsome crispy skin that has somehow been smoked through the meat was just killer!   THIS is the reason I would want to come back and explore the menu further and its great selection. The staff were very welcoming and we met briefly the manager Terry who takes great interest with each of his guests, discreetly keeping an eye on each table making sure his patrons enjoy their experience while giving them enough space to take in the Dainty Dumpling journey!Thanks for a great time guys - will definitely be back!!!!
