I always dine at the Driftwood when I am in Hay River. However, yesterday's meal was disappointing. The buffalo burger I had was overly processed and lacked flavor.

The food at this restaurant was enjoyable. However, our experience was marred by the unhelpful and rude service we received during breakfast. Despite clearly ordering two orders of pancakes, one with bacon and one with sausage, our server forgot one of the meals and then accused us of not ordering it. The missing breakfast finally arrived after we had finished eating, and we were charged for it separately. When we suggested that the last meal should be complimentary due to the error, the server angrily snatched the bill from our hands and walked away without resolving the situation. Overall, it was a disappointing and unpleasant experience, and we do not plan on returning to this restaurant.

Food not bad the owner can hunt a few things like customer service skills, the customers are always right and not so respectful way to talk to their mistakes and accuse us for them or their chefs, they have fired the best cook because he is not enough experience other cook is garbage

Service was polite, food was delicious. Only at the bottom are they used bottle water instead of water in a glass.
