Subway - Hawthorne

Super friendly service and plenty of parking in the parking lot! I liked how there was a spot right in front of the store for pickups. I came in to redeem my free birthday cookie reward and chose a raspberry cheesecake cookie. The girl behind the counter asked me when my birthday was and wished me a happy birthday even though it was two weeks ago. My cookie was packaged nicely and I got two napkins to go. The cookie was soft and sweet. Thank you for the sweet treat!

TRASH BAG EXPERIENCE. I mean just an absolute disappointment. You know what, let me start off by saying this is not the employees fault. They were actually helpful. I placed an online order at 4:30pm, the site took my money and told me it would be ready for pick up at 4:45. I?ll make a long story short it didn?t pop up in their system, and I didn?t get my food until 5:20pm, after waiting around and not knowing what to do. And I did all that waiting around for 4 little slices of roast beef on my sandwich. Bottom line, The online order system is garbage, and I had a trash experience. Absolutely disappointed. Only giving 5 stars because the employee?s kindness was 5 stars.

The restaurant offers easy parking and serves fast food that isn't greasy or fried. They genuinely strive to provide healthy choices. Even if you indulge a bit with oil, vinegar, and cheese, it’s still a healthier option compared to pizza or burgers. The prices are affordable, and there are plenty of sandwich varieties to choose from. The place is clean, and the dining area is spacious. They bake the bread fresh, and your sandwich is customized to your liking as you select your toppings.

The short Hispanic woman with the loud voice was very rude. The tall Hispanic man wearing a shirt that says "Spicy" and speaks in a drawn-out tone was also extremely rude. I suggest choosing a different location.

I would give this restaurant 5 stars about 50% of the time. The food is usually fresh and well-prepared, which is what you'd expect. My family visits this location frequently, and some of the staff recognize us and know our orders, which adds to the 5-star service. However, there isn't anything particularly remarkable that sets it apart from other Subways, so I can't rate it a full 5 stars.
