Abbey Burger - Havre de Grace

During the havre de grace jazz blues festivals (multiple day event) I was introduced into the wonderful world of abbey burger. instead of getting a burger, I decided on the garnelenburger (a hand garnelenpatty.) combined with my choice of avocado, relish and tweebel on a roasted English muffin, fries, and served with a crumble, round garnitur of a spicy pup slice, I liked it to a generous order of garneliness. my order total came to $18-ish and very delish-ish!

In the night we went, the restaurant was unfortunately very short occupied without being blamed for it. Once we understood what happened, we waited patiently for our food and we are glad that we did. our truthahnburgers, which we created in the table, were delicious. the crab pull alone is worth a return. we can't wait to go back.

Eating was really good, but too expensive. I need the whole package to pay the money. waited for an hour to eat. vibe was confusing inside. the waitress took 20 minutes to get to our table only. we had to ask for service. there were not many people. it talked to someone about how unhappy we were and they were nice and tried to explain that it takes long because they are handrolled burgers. I can see that, but for this kind of money. No, I better go for a burger.

The burgers were amazing! Tons of customization options and excellent flavor. Pretty good alcoholic drinks and beers too. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

A great place for an inspired burger! The name and the door might be a bit small and hard to find, but worth the look. The bar in front is a little cramped, but they make room for live entertainment. Down the hall in back is a quieter, larger dining room. The staff is friendly and helpful. The fried pickles were crisp and tasty, I wish there was a little more dipping sauce. It was delicious. I tried the lamb burger (olive spread, cucumber, romaine, herb yogurt,feta, pepperoncini, pita) with sweet potato fries and I was not disappointed. The ingredients were fresh and I really enjoyed the flavors. My husband had the bison burger(bison burger, jalapenos, salsa, avocado, pepperjack,spicy crème fraiche , classic bun), cooked to his liking, almost rare. You can't get this just anywhere.
