Yin Court - Havering

Four of us went here last night, Friday, apart from us it was empty at 21.00. It worked on a one price. All you can eat menu for £25.50 per head, and you couldn't fault the food, it was delicious. BUT how much Chinese food can you eat? For us it wasn't value for money. A glass of wine at £8.00 from a bottle which probably cost them £5.00. No sorry, won't be returning soon, but I can see if you have a large appetite and can eat and eat. This is the place for you.

I have not been to the restaurant for ages. It seems to have some poor reviews lately, but I must say the service was friendly and excellent and the food was really delicious with quite generous helpings (Four lovely skewers of chicken sate). It is great to have so many old favourites on the menu, like chicken with cashew nuts and yellow bean sauce. I will definitely not leave it too long for another visit.

I had my food delivered i paid 36 pound for what I call the worst food iv eaten the special chow main had no meat just loads of onion the prawn toast was so hard the spare ribs were dry and rock hard I phoned to speak to manager who was not there the lady I spoke to was so rude called me a lier I asked them to send driver back I would give him the rotten food I wanted a refund she put the phone down I then called another 3 times again she was rude put phone down and refused a refund avoid this place the food is disgusting and the staff are rude

My son and his friends went this evening and he said the food was good and staff were friendly. Not sure why this place is getting bd reviews as my son said it was good.

Went for an early evening meal (5pm) on Saturday 23.7.22 with four friends. I went with trepidation, having read some of the awful feedback on here, and was wondering why on earth we were going here….. We were greeted by the nicest lady, who seated us and explained the menu….. Each individual item we ordered would be enough for 5 people, and she explained that if we ordered 5 different rices that would be enough for 25 people!! So the best option was to order a little at a time, which was freshly cooked and served with a smile, and if we wanted more food, order again, and more freshly cooked food would be served. I understand, entirely, why they’re loathe ro supply heaps and heaps of food, only for it to be thrown away. This is a business, and people ordering too much food, heaping it on their plates then leaving it to be thrown away isn’t only really wasteful, but eats into the profits they make. The premises were clean and tidy, the extra staff who began to arrive were cheerful and helpful, and the cost was minimal for such nice food. There was hardly any waste, and we were so full that when we were offered ice cream, had to decline. I’m not from the Upminster area, but am really looking forward to going back in October and paying a return visit to forward to a return visit to Yin Court. Thanks for a good eating experience xx
