Delight Cafe - Havering

Had pie and mash and liquor to go from here today. Ordered over the phone and picked up on time stated, given hand gel at door before entry. Picking up food for lunch party with grandsons. Perfect pie and mash and really friendly people. We will be going again and also will visit to eat in. Highly recommend on all aspects.

This cafe was busy which I felt was a good sign. They have a very substantial menu and I went for a mushroom omelette and tea. The omelette was a good portion with plenty of mushrooms and was served with beans and a substantial and fresh side salad. It was lovely and a bargain at £4.80. They do a good cup of tea as well for just 80 pence. I will be back.

My husband goes to the Britannia for lunch and was telling me how nice it is, so I thought I would have to check it out. I was not disappointed at all. It's a proper, good value cafe with good freshly cooked food that doesn't cut any corners. The staff are very efficient and friendly. I asked for a salad instead of veg with my shepherd's pie and was expecting a little garnish. Instead I got almost a plateful of mixed salad. The pie itself was very good and a generous serving. Lots of good stuff on the menu so looking forward to another visit soon.

Brittania cafe is a great little cafe,staff are very friendly they even notice when 1 person isn't there.
