Picton Castle - Haverfordwest

The grounds are beautiful, making it an ideal spot for families with kids. There are numerous activities for little ones to enjoy, and the mini zoo offers engaging talks about birds and reptiles. While the restaurant is a bit pricey, the quality of the food is excellent and freshly prepared. We spent over four hours here and would have stayed longer if the weather hadn’t changed.

Absolutely fantastic! The gardens are stunning, and the castle is fascinating. The zoo area features a delightful variety of owls. The castle maintains its original character and hasn't been altered like many other estates; it truly feels as though it has been preserved just as the original owners intended. The gardens, greenhouse, and walled garden are beautiful, showcasing an impressive range of plants. The tea room and restaurant offer a nice selection of meals and snacks. Overall, we had a wonderful day out!

The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The walled garden is absolutely stunning, and the woodland walk features some magnificent trees. We look forward to being regular visitors.

So much to see and do. If you are a carer you will need id of this. There was so much to see and do. Very wheelchair friendly, bumpy at times along some of the paths. When you pay you get a map of the groups with all the information on. Restrooms: Plenty of toilets situated around the grounds. Very well kept Dog-friendliness: Dogs are to be on leads, but saw plenty while there. Picnic area: There is a restaurant and seating area outside.

Beautiful gardens, lovely house although only a few rooms are open. Will visit again if I'm ever that way again. Staff all helpful.
