Bidrage med feedbackWe were looking for some decent lunchtime pub food whilst visiting Emsworth mid week and called in at the Blue Bell it was busy both at the bar and the tables, which is always a good sign. The waitress found us a table and made us feel very welcome. We settled on baguettes and had the 'chicken, chorizo and roasted pepper ' and 'Mr Starrs sausage and onion ' with a side of chips. It was superb, and so good to find somewhere that not only serves good food but does so with really good service from friendly staff (thank you Tina and Jasmine). Will we go back? Absolutely!
We went there for Sunday lunch. Its the best roast dinner I've ever had.....and sticky toffee pudding!
During our visit, we tried several local pubs before discovering the Bluebell. The food was fantastic - we both enjoyed a delicious breakfast (I had the "fat boy" and couldn't finish it). We returned for a Sunday roast and were not disappointed. The table service was great, and the roast was delicious, accompanied by a decent wine selection. The prices were also very reasonable compared to those in Brighton. Additionally, they provided local walk flyers that we used to explore Thorney Island, which was very helpful (they offer 4 different walks). The landlord Giles was also very helpful during our visit. Thank you.
Very warm welcome from the Bluebell Team…food and service high quality, especially from the wife of Giles the owner (apologies I did not get your name)…thanks for a lovely lunch; really looking forward to your wonderful Calves Liver on our next visit…thanks lots!
I love the welcome and atmosphere and usually the food but the ham, egg and chips has changed and is AWFUL. Wet nasty ham not hand carved lovely ham as before. AVOID!
