Hurricane Grill Wings - Hauppauge

We wanted to see a televised sporting event. It was the middle of the day so beginning was no problem. Bartender was friendly, but considering how empty it was there, maybe it was nice not to have some more attention on our drinks empty. The food was good. My friend said they were there if the best was before he had. I had the Fajita bowl. It was delicious. All in all, I'd go back. Comfortable meeting place.

This is a great spot. The bartender is highly skilled and provides excellent customer service. The dishes are both hot and delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a laid-back dining experience.

We've been coming to this restaurant for years since he opened. Earlier this evening we went to dinner with our 4 year old son, who is an extremely picky eater. I'd like to prevent this if we've ever had any problems before. Because my son is picky, we brought a happy meal for him to dinner. My husband and I still get appetizers, entrées and cocktails, as we would do everywhere, just not a child's meal. We sat down and the waitress told us we shouldn't have a Happy Meal. When we explained that our son would not eat here because he is selective and has food intolerances, she laughed. We were the ONLY people at the restaurant for dinner on a Sunday. She didn't give us Leeway, so we packed up and left, went down the street to another restaurant where we eat without any problems. This place has very little business to start with, and the fact that they prefer a $60-70 table and tip, the only people in place, about a $5 child's meal is absurd. We'll never go back after the treatment.

This is a great spot for a quick meal. Our server was very friendly. The drinks are tasty, but not very potent. They also offer lunch specials.
