Zum Neuling - Hattingen

This is a place that the locals come to. White asparagus (Spargel) is in season and was a great part of our meals. Very tasty! Make sure you try the Apfelstrudel and the chocolate mousse. We came back just for dessert another night!!!

We stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms were comfortable and very reasonable. The staff could not be friendlier. You are treated as part of their family. The food and drink is outstanding, 5 Stars. We ate breakfast (included) which was typical German. Meats, bread, jelly, brie cheese, tomatoes, and scrambled eggs. The rhouladin for dinner was as good as my mother used to make, which is saying a lot. We were there with 9 people, half of which were from Bochum and we all loved the food.

Always a good meal with appropriate service!

A super restaurant, fine cuisine and very friendly, were there with friends from Munich and they were totally enthusiastic. Very recommended
