Breakwater - Hatteras

Let me tell you about the bartenders! These young women really know how to work! I was incredibly impressed by their service, cleanliness, and efficiency. They were friendly and the drinks were fantastic! The food was amazing as well. Overall, it was a wonderful experience! Breakwater is definitely a must-visit when you're in Hatteras!

Great food with some nice views! The bar staff was attentive and quick. The drinks were refreshing, too. Since we arrived during peak hours, we couldn’t sit outside, so we opted for seats at the bar. The person next to me had a seafood dish that looked amazing and I couldn’t resist trying it. We also ordered the calamari, which was excellent. I highly recommend trying the swordfish when they have it! The atmosphere was pleasant, and I definitely plan to return. If you're going with family, I'd suggest heading there a bit earlier for dinner.

This is a lovely spot for outdoor dining. The food was tasty; we enjoyed appetizers, dinner, and dessert. The service was efficient, but it felt a bit hurried. I had only finished half of my appetizer when my main course arrived, leaving no space on the table for both. Unfortunately, our waitress didn't seem very friendly. However, we really appreciated the live music that added to the experience.

Breakwater staff is fantastic, both in terms of customer service and general interpersonal interactions. The restaurant has a very cozy interior as well as a well-planned, beautiful outdoor seating area. As far as food is concerned, there are few places where I would rather eat in the area. The seafood is fresh, well prepared and I look forward to every time I'm in town. I only visit the area once a year, and Breakwater is one of my stops every time.

Food was good. Tuna poke appetizer was excellent. Atmosphere was pleasant. Server was very friendly but a little slow paced. Never asked if we wanted another drink but did remember to inquire about dessert.
