Millstone Country Inn - Hathersage

This pub is fantastic! I always enjoy coming here. It is very welcoming to dogs: I brought a friend's rescue dog who was feeling anxious, but instead of asking us to leave, the staff helped to calm the dog with treats and attention, making sure we all felt welcome. I was truly impressed!

When we arrived at the restaurant, the waitress seemed uninterested. We asked if we could choose our own table and she responded with a lackluster "ye" before walking away. When we inquired about ordering food, we received another unenthusiastic "ye." After ordering drinks and perusing the menu, we were surprised to find out at the bar that they were no longer accepting bookings for food. It was only ten minutes later. We were given no explanation, just a simple "no." The customer service was very poor and rude.
