Bunker's Smokehouse Grill - Hastings

The waitress was great. I ordered a full brisket. The brisket was cold and dry. The meat must have been cooked on a different day or left over meat. The corn bread was so dry when I stabbed a piece it all crumbled. The butter was cold. Fries were not warm but I ate them. What else was I gonna eat. I hate writing bad reviews but this place could be good.

We had a large party that they accommodated easily. For a party of 25+ the waitress (Abbey) was amazing. She was attentive and quick to get us drinks and food. The favorite dish at the table seemed to be the Brisket BLT. I had the smoked chicken which was nice. The sauces had great flavor.

Aubreanna was our server and she answered all of our questions for our first visit to the restaurant. The food has a very good taste when it comes to the smoke on the meat. My husband had the pic 2 meats, burnt ends which they ran out of in under an hour) pulled pork that seemed to have a lot of big chunks of fat and very little meat. His 2 sides where backed Mac and cheese which was a bit dry or over baked but still good French fries that where not fully cooked. I have the half baked chicken that had a nice crispy skin on it and a lot of juice under it. My 2 choices were the baked Mac and cheese mashed potatoes which I had to ask to be heated up wouldn't even melt the butter I put on them. Then you get a nice size corn bread with each meal that's not warm and you get honey butter for the spread. We definitely will be back there are a few other things on the menu we want to try yet.

The barbecue is very good, the service is better and the value is great. So I will definitely be coming back to dine at bunker's smokehouse.I love the ability to chat, facilitated by no loud music. This alone is reason to come back again.If you like the feel of a family run restaurant on main street, you will love Bunker's Smokehouse.

Very nice and new restaurant, great ambiance and great food. I ordered the Cuban sandwich, it came with sweet potato fries, my favorite, our friends ordered a sampler, a burger and my husband ordered something else I don 't even remember. I was disappointed that our waitress took my friend 's drink order and I asked for a margarita, she didn 't even look at st me or acknowledge my order, didn 't ask if I wanted frozen or on ice, or if I wanted a flavor, or even if I wanted salt or sugar on the rim, she didn 't even say okay . Our food was really good, the margarita was really good too, but I never found out if they had different flavors. I still would go back and give them a second chance because the door is worth it.
