American Legion Post 47 - Hastings

So I have a hard time posting 1 star for an Legion Post, but service is terrible. The scenery on the river is great, but we sat outside and waited 15 minutes on a day that wasn't busy. Not 1 server stopped to say hi or that they'd be right with us. The tables in front, the back, and the side all were getting served. Not once did a server say anything to us. I can't rate the food because we left. Disappointing to say the least

I’ve lived in Hastings for 3 years now and have made it home. Been to this place 4 times with family. All 4 of my kids felt uncomfortable along with EVERYONE in my family. For sure not somewhere to go for people of color. People like to watch you eat your meal and point and stare. Do NOT Recommend.

I was surprised at how good their food was. The staff is always friendly as well.

Stopped by for breakfast on a Sunday around 10:20. Got a table right away, and the server brought our drinks in a timely manner. They offer a breakfast buffet or ordering off a menu. The six of us chose to order off the menu. Our food came out in a timely manner and it was delicious! Thick cut bacon and crispy hash browns. Yummy!Service was great and so was the food. We will definitely come back if we are in the area.

Poor service. Only those sitting at the bar were taken care of. This has happened twice in less than two weeks it was not a busy time. If there was no table service the staff should let us know.
