The Great American Steak More - Haslet

Great place, great food , and not the same fare as every other clone around Haslet. Love the cheesesteaks and gyros.

In the 1 hr. 40 minutes waiting on our food waiter came by three times. While patiently waiting on the food after all this time was not even ready had to ask get manager involved kitchen was not even working on our order. Don’t don’t if the food was good or not but being from out of town was a horrible place.

We stopped in purely by chance. There's a big selection of food here. I got a meat lovers roll and chocolate cake. The food came hot and was delicious. I don't care for marinara usually, but theirs is delicious! The tall guy at front was laid back and friendly. Will definitely come back.

Ordered through Grubhub. Not the cheapest place we've ever ordered from, ended up spending around $100 everything included. We ordered the philly cheesesteak, Great Gyro, and the fish and shrimp plate, as well as the bacon and cheese potato, philly cheesesteak potato, and mushroom and cheese potato, along with 2 smoothies and an order of mozzarella sticks. The food was delivered around the time they said it would be. Here's where things go downhill. We first noticed something was wrong when we opened up the food and found a mushroom and swiss burger. Not something we ordered. Later after closer inspection, we discovered we only got 2 baked potatoes. They had mistaken the mushroom and cheese potato as a burger. We checked to make sure we hadn't mistakenly ordered the wrong thing, and sure enough it said mushroom and cheese potato. On the subject of the potatoes, we did not got a philly cheesesteak baked potato, but 2 of the bacon and cheese potatoes. We were very disappointed about the potatoes as we were looking forward to those and sharing the different kinds we got. We next pulled out the mozzarella sticks, of which was a nice portion, however, they breading they used and the cheese itself were....strange. Not bad, but weird. What WAS bad, was the tartar sauce they provided for the fish and shrimp plate (which was quite small for the nearly $11 price tag). The fish and shrimp themselves were good though, as was the philly cheesesteak sandwich I had ordered, and the gyro as well. The smoothies were also quite tasty, as were the potatoes when we tried them.To make a long review short:Some of the order was wrong, mozzarella sticks and tartar sauce were weird, but the food itself was good. An average experience for a somewhat more than average price.Really quite sad about it honestly as we were looking forward to trying this place out when it first popped up next to our favorite donut shop.

We just ordered from The Great American Steak More. Very disappointed in the outcome.Crinkle cut fried were the seasoned fries without seasoning. Oh wait, there were 4 crinkle cut fries in the whole order.We requested that our cheeseburgers be made plain and dry. They came with all the fixings.The chicken fried steak sandwich tasted like rubber on a bun.The mushroom burger was so bad that my wife could not finish it and threw it away.This place is best summoned up by my son, McDonalds makes a better cheeseburger.
