Bizzell's - Hartsville

The maple glazed salmon is great as all dishes are served here. They are known for their soups and spectacular muffins. The atmosphere is also very beautiful. For those looking for a place to drink, they also have a bar. They also offer drive them pickup. The only complaint I have is that they are not open for lunch on Saturday.

Updated review: Had no better dinner. Our food and service this time was amazing. Photos of what we ordered the maple glazed salmon, Angus Steak and key lime cake. Everything came out quickly and tasted delicious. Our waitress was nice and prompt. We will definitely come back! Old review: Three stars because the food is good (4 5 stars), but the service is terrible (0 1 stars). My table ordered two appetizers: roasted pimples and crab dip; three entrees: house salad, spinach salad and shrimp; one side: broccolilate; and two desserts: chocolate cobbler and cream brule. I had asked if the broccoli salad had onions, and if it were, I wouldn't want it. Our waitress brought out the pimp, but no crab dive and no explanation of where it was. Not too long after that she brought a salad and shrimp and grits together with the Broccoli salad side. She explained that the side had onions and then asked if I wanted it, what I said no to her. I asked where our other appetizer was, and she said it was in the oven and a while I said we didn't want it anymore. There was no warning that this app lasts so long or that it can come out after our food. I've never told anyone that an app will come out after our meal. Apart from various other failures in the service, the phone of the restaurant at the Hostess desk is extremely loud and it is very inconspicuous while you eat. It's a shame, because it's one of Hartsville, a few non-chain nice restaurants.

Great place for a delicious dinner. I love the holiday decoration, real Poinsettias and Christmas music.

Best damn sweet corn bread you’ll ever have, with the best butter to go with it. Everything else is good too. I gave it only four stars because it took a long time before a server came to the table. But after that the server was very attentive. Also, Hartsville has a very charming and surprisingly lively downtown. Plenty of nice places to dine and drink within walking distance.
