Bidrage med feedbackAmazing nature reserve where the rspb logo (the avocet) can be seen. it is an unmistakable black-white wader with a long, high-curved beak, which once had died in the united kingdom of kings. there are beautiful walks of different lengths, with great hidden, last for the une to do, and the main building has coffee shop and shop with all to protect our birds. they can see seals sunbathing near seal sands. the staff and the volunteers could not have been nicer. Thank you.
Lovely place for a visit. Friendly staff, good choice of food in the cafe and well laid out to see wildlife.
A wonderful sanctuary surrounded by industry. While still the mid winter there were lots of birds about and the walk around the site was refreshing. The cafe is reasonable with nice coffee and friendly staff. A pleasant way to spend a couple of hours.
Had an amazing experience at Saltholme nature reserve the other day. I work as a companion and had a disabled man with me who I was taking out for the day. They were so accommodating and actually allowed me one of the classrooms to administer a peg feed in private. The reserve is fantastic with different hides, nature walks and so many amazing birds and creatures. One of my favourite places and again the staff are just lovely. Highly recommended.
Unbelievable!! I'm amazed by the juxtaposition of incredible wildlife and overcrowding industries. More credit and aids should be allocated to RSPB....a phenomenal site to visit with family and friends.
