Gus's Carry Out - Hartland Twp

Totally disappointed. Small Geek salad (feeds 2) had 1 black olive, 2 cherry tomato’s 1 cucumber, few red onion slices with a little feta cheese lots of lettuce. Breadsticks doughy. Almost packed like balls in the bag. The ribs on the other hand we’re pretty good. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

I ordered the 3 lb mostaccioli special, which includes a bag of breadsticks and a small Greek salad. Unfortunately, the breadsticks were quite thin and very short. Luckily, I ordered an extra half bag, as those were a more reasonable size. I also ordered a small Cobb salad, but I was charged $5 for it because the cashier noted it as a replacement for the Greek salad. They charged me $8 for the Greek salad that was supposed to come with the meal, which should have been complimentary. I'm very disappointed with Gus's; I've never had an issue before. The cashier wasn't very approachable when I tried to discuss the charges. I bought this meal for my daughter's birthday, and we were all shocked at how small the breadsticks were.

We ordered the lasagna meal for two along with two sides of garlic cheese dip, and were told it would take about 25 to 30 minutes. That was fine, but it ended up taking an hour and a half. When the food finally arrived, the lasagna was cold. They also forgot one of our cheese dips and only gave us five breadsticks instead of the twelve that the menu promised. To top it off, the Greek salad had spoiled tomatoes. I could have overlooked one or two of these issues, but overall, this experience was very disappointing. Gus's, you need to improve.

Great pizza! The dining experience was wonderful. I had lunch and found the prices very reasonable, ranging from $1 to $10. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a perfect score of 5. I highly recommend the Greek Salad!

Always outstanding service, food, overall experience. We cater through here 6+ times a year. So grateful for them.
