The Quechee Inn At Marshland Farm

We dined at this restaurant with a tour group and the food was excellent, especially the fish I had which was superb. Service was rated a 5/5 and the location also received a perfect score.

We recently held our wedding at the Quechee Inn and had an amazing experience. The entire Inn was reserved exclusively for our guests for the weekend, which was a fantastic touch. We especially enjoyed hosting our welcome party there on Friday night and also had the option to host our rehearsal dinner. The Inn itself is a charming and cozy old New England establishment, with picturesque tavern and rooms featuring beautiful wooden beams and fireplaces. The outdoor setting is equally stunning, providing plenty of opportunities for stunning photos. The food was delicious and received high praise from all of our guests, whether it was breakfast, dinner at the Inn, or the wedding meal itself. The staff did a fantastic job of outlining the wedding costs in advance, which we appreciated after encountering other venues that were not as transparent. Our wedding day went smoothly, allowing us to relax and truly enjoy the celebration. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and highly recommend the Quechee Inn. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

We first dined at The Quechee Inn restaurant in 2003. The entrance at that time featured a photo of a chef with Julia Child. The food was exceptional back then and it quickly became our preferred dining spot in Vermont. However, over the years, the quality has declined and each visit leaves us more and more disappointed. The food is now just average. During my most recent visit, I tried the Shrimp crostini and boneless half duck. The crostini was a bit oily and the duck lacked flavor. The New York cheesecake for dessert had an unexpected salty taste. Overall, the food and drinks were disappointing.

We've been coming here for 20 years. The first time we came the duck was spectacular. Back then it was a half roasted duck. Over the years it's been going downhill. The last time we were here, 2016, it was still very good but no longer outstanding. This time, 2023, it was no longer a half duck although they still call it that. Now it's a boneless ball of duck and it's flavorless. The service was outstanding but the food needs work,we hope they can return to their old standards Service: 5 Location: 4
