The Place 2 Be - Hartford

This restaurant is majestic by it's appearance and gives high expectations, also by it's name....I mean, is it? Well, it is huge and very stylish. I went for breakfast and the decor seemed more like a nightclub, however, I was very impressed with their classic eggs benedict rendition, served on biscuits, with a nice thin piece of Canadian bacon, poached eggs, and a great hollandaise sauce. The biscuits were outstanding, I wish they had sausage gravy. The hash browns were big and fried lightly. My side of bacon was very good lightly dusted with green something, like oregano. Check out their menu, lots of different offerings, a ton of coffee options and lattes. I think you should give it a try.

Place came highly recommended and my daughter and I were excited to go. It's a cool spot, with an atmosphere I would have probably appreciated more in my 20s and early 30s. Music was good but loud. Wouldn't suggest if you're looking g to ha e a conversation with someone with your meal.Our food was looked and tasted fantastic. Service was just off. A few big groups came in while we were seated which could have impacted this. Our food came out at different times and I had to ask a few times for an additional condiment. Willing to try again. Hoping next time will be better.

I had brunch here on my birthday, and I loved it. The food and the drinks were amazing.This place was a vibe. 10/10 recommend it.

Fun and great atmosphere! The waitstaff was very cool ? and friendly. I wanted to love this place, The Place 2 Be. I loved the concept, idea and location (Hartford). But ultimately, the food was not great. My salad had fixings that were not on the menu, kind of like they threw what they had leftover in the kitchen. My sister's Philly Cheese Omlette was overdone. We all loved the sweet potato fries. Nicely done!I am, however, going to try The Place 2 Be on Franklin ave. again. Maybe I just hit the kitchen on an off day?Fun photo ops too!

The food was delicious and the brunch drinks were amazing. Solid presentation. Solid taste. 10/10 would recommend!
