The Capital Grille - Hartford

The Mac cheese without the lobster was great. I also had a salmon that was delicious. I could taste all the flavor that the menu listed. It was a wonderful and comfortable experience. We were dressed casual, my wife and I. Not from the area, we just happened to come from MA to visit a friend. We were suggested Capital Grille. We were made to feel like regulars, super comfortable.

This is a lovely restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere in the bar area. The waitress was extremely attentive, and the filet mignon was absolutely delicious. The drinks were expertly crafted as well, especially the Bohemian Absolute Peach mixed with berry cordial, champagne, and fresh raspberries. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!

Wow! Just wow! The customer service here is outstanding! Capital Grille truly knows how to elevate each visit into a memorable experience. Our server, Jordan, and manager, David, were fantastic and made us feel incredibly welcome. I would give 10 stars if I could! I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner; the lobster mac and cheese and the cheesecake were simply delicious!

This was my first visit, and I had a great experience. The service was outstanding, and our host, Reuben, was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, and while it was on the pricier side, every dish and drink was definitely worth it. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

We just had a nice Mother’s Day lunch at The Capital Grille! My parents had come here back in August for their anniversary and had a great experience, so my mom requested to come back today. I liked that they had their regular menu with some brunch options to choose from as well. The lobster bisque and heirloom tomatoes with burrata were great starters. My mom and I each had an order of the 8 oz filet mignon with the white cheddar hash. The steak was cooked perfectly, and she liked that she could add on the lobster tail with her’s. The hash could’ve used a little bit more flavor, and I was a bit surprised that when it said it came with asparagus, that it was literally one asparagus cut in half. Good thing we ordered some sides for the table to share! Very tasty mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. The coconut cream pie was a huge dessert and very well liked by the table. I also appreciated the delicious bread basket filled with some great choices, like blueberry bread and everything rolls, paired with a nice salted butter. Our server, Shane, was very professional and did a great job of taking care of us. The restaurant itself had many beautiful dining rooms! I would be happy to dine here again for a special occasion!
