A friend brought a box of cookies from this bakery to a gathering in January 2022, and every variety was outstanding. They disappeared quickly, and everyone remarked on how delicious they were. The cookies were fresh and full of flavor. He mentioned that they were significantly cheaper than some cookies he had bought for a Christmas dinner with us from a nearby bakery, which we found rather forgettable.

We recently relocated from New York and weren't sure what to expect from the local bakeries. After some online research, I came across this bakery and reached out via email, where I received a prompt reply. I ordered our son's birthday cake about three months in advance to avoid the summer rush. When we walked in to pick up the cake, it immediately caught our eye as soon as we entered the store. The details were so exquisite that I almost hesitated to cut into it. Carla and her team did an incredible job with our son's cake, and it tasted just as fantastic as it looked. We’ve definitely found our go-to bakery and will be returning. Thank you all for creating such a wonderful cake!

A customer gifted us Modern Pastry's Italian cookies for the holidays, and they were incredibly fresh and delicious! My personal favorites are the rainbow cookies, but every single cookie was delightful and tasty. It's such a fantastic gift idea!

Highly recommend Modern Pastry. Great communication. Amazing attention to detail. It was as delicious as it was beautiful to look at. We picked the buttercream frosting, raspberry filling and marble cake. All of our guests loved the wedding cake and asked for the name of the bakery.

Picked up our wedding cake tasting samples today from Modern Pastry! When you walk in you can immediately tell that their products are going to be delicious! Had the wonderful Italian pastry shop vibe as soon as you walk in through the front door! We saw a couple wedding cakes in the cooler that were waiting for their events and they were absolutely stunning! When we got home we tasted the cake, mousses and buttercream frosting. The buttercream frosting was so perfect and had such a wonderful light texture and flavor to it. The mousses we tried next and it was really hard for us to choose just 1 favorite because they were all delicious. We tried the cake last and all 3 kinds were so moist and fluffy. Lastly we paired the mousses and frosting with the different kinds of cakes and decided on our favorite for our wedding. We will be emailing Carla this week to book our wedding cake! We are so happy we found this wonderful pastry shop and are so happy to have such incredibly nice people help make our wedding cake so special!
