The Ruby Lounge - HARROW

We discovered this fantastic new restaurant, now called Saras, after hearing about it several times. We visited on a Sunday evening and were impressed by the delicious food, particularly the Goan Fish Curry with its generous portion size. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the chef went above and beyond by preparing a special dish for us to accommodate our dietary restrictions. We highly recommend this restaurant to both locals and visitors alike.

It was interesting reading the reviews. I am not sure whether the restaurant has new owners or a new chef but the food here is very good. The vegatarian momos (starters) are delightful they have a depth of flavour and are really tasty. The prawn grill is lovely and the chicken and lamb dishes are lovely. We haven't had dessert here so cannot comment. The restaurant caters well for families with children and our five year old really likes to eat here. Service is slighty slow but the food is definitely worth it.

Being in Harrow you expect fierce competition and this doesn't offer price or quality competition It's very average. The food is ok but takes long to arrive and is dear. Finally there is no atmosphere, it's never busy and there's no experience to be gained from a quite restaurant

Terrible! We went with family that are actually from Kenya and were here on holiday and they were extremely excited for this place we went there with empty stomachs because we had heard the food was fantastic... This was the biggest mistake we ended up waiting almost 2 hours for our food, I managed to leave the restaurant to pick my sister from a nearby station (Harrow Wealdstone) being new to the area got completely lost and still made it back to the table before our food!! When the food arrived it was cold and had to send it back to be reheated and frankly it was nothing great even then! This would still not be so bad if we werent the only people dining in the restaurant there were only a few people by the bar and to this day i don't know what took them so long!!! It's a real shame, hopefully we just went on an off day and this isn't their general standard but due to this I will never return and wouldn't recommend it to anyone!!

This restaurant serves Indian cuisine with a Kenyan twist. FREE Local delivery. Function room Live Sports on 3 Screens Outside catering for parties, cooperate events and BBQ'S at home. I reccomend the Lamb chops served on a smoking sizzler (delicious). Bupi wings are finger licking (chefs special). They have specials too, ask about the Desi lamb and Desi Chicken (just like mum makes it at home wow) This has to be one of the best no frills proper indian restaurants in harrow. Its always buzzing with families, couples or groups.Atmosphere is chilled, just try it.
