Bidrage med feedbackHad a drink, followed by a lovely meal with friends at this restaurant. The atmosphere was fantastic, the staff were friendly, and the food was excellent. Overall, it was a perfect evening and I would definitely recommend it.
I got food poisoning and a urinary tract infection from the food at an event held by Pink Turban on May 3, 2016. The event was organized by an Indian bank in Great Britain. While most people who ate vegetarian food were fine, almost everyone who had non-vegetarian food suffered from diarrhea (including children). I had to miss 4 days of work and experienced severe stomach pain. I urge caution before ordering non-vegetarian food from this restaurant, especially the saag chicken.
I visited this restaurant a week ago in search of a new dining experience and, of course, my love for Indian food. After seeing positive online reviews, I decided to give it a try. Located just steps away from the Reyner's Lane tube station (a plus for convenience), the restaurant is visually appealing with a classic décor featuring traditional paintings and lamps that provide an Indian touch. However, I would have preferred if the lighting was brighter. Despite this, the food did not disappoint. We started with the paapri chaat and seekh kebab, both of which were beautifully presented and delicious. The paapri chaat was more like a full meal for me, but it was worth it. Overall, the experience was delightful and I would recommend it to others who enjoy Indian cuisine.
Pink turban unusual name for a restaurant. but surely put it off the rest. I wanted to try this place since I heard the names I went to Sunday dinner when the restaurant was completely empty. strange to be the only, but eating was excellent we ordered delhi chaat, dum biryani and rara gosht. chaat was tender and sharp. Maybe a bit more tamarinde would make it a perfect 10/10. dum biryani was quite authentic and had been boiled in a covered handi (pot). rara poured something too rich, but delicious. overall, good food. if we had more space in my mind, I would have tried the Kheer shots. maybe next time decor des restaurants is modern but...read more
The decor is fantastic. One of the most lavish restaurants I have seen in this part of Greater London. The Service could be a bit more attentive. The seating is uncomfortable, and you have to wait a long time (over an hour) for your food. Also the music is too loud. The food is typical of Indian food in a decent restaurant, however everything was made a little too rich'. Presentation is more important than the quality of the food. Would I return here? No.
