Great service, had coffee and chocolate cake sitting in the window. Such welcoming staff who made a fuss of the dog. We bought bread and pasties to take out fabulous quality. Thank you.

This restaurant offers a great selection of both cold and hot dishes, including bread, desserts, savoury pies, and croissants. The cheese straws and croissants were particularly delicious. My partner enjoyed their bacon roll as well. We even brought some cherry crumbles back to Portsmouth, and they held up well during the trip and were incredibly tasty. We were so impressed that we even considered making the 10-hour round trip again just to get more.

This charming bakery offers a wide variety of options. The hot sandwiches for takeout were delicious, and they even gave our dog a free sausage! We would return to Boroughbridge just for this place. It's a hidden gem with reasonable prices and welcoming staff. They accept both cash and card payments.

DELICIOUS! Steak pies are second to none and the blackberry and apple crumbles made in heaven! I have found no better bread that the GI loaves ever and I am a bread maniac! Super friendly and efficient staff just what you would expect from a hardworking family run bakery. Totally EXCELLENT!
