Bengal Cuisine - Harrogate

We stopped in for an early dinner on Saturday night while passing through town. It was quiet because it was early, so we were able to sit by the window and enjoy the sunshine and view while we had a lovely meal. The canned soft drinks were very reasonably priced, which was a pleasant surprise and encouraged us to order more. Just be sure to check if you can pay by card when you arrive. The service was great for dining in.

Given this information, my party decided not to dine at the restaurant. We typically leave a 10 percent tip when eating out, but the upfront demand for an extra 20 percent seemed excessive and greedy. It's not surprising that the restaurant was empty - we won't be considering dining there again.

I ordered Lamb Rezala with Mushroom Pilau Rice for takeout. The flavors were delicious, but the lamb was quite tough and had a lot of gristle. It was on the pricier side at £17.95 for takeout, and unfortunately, it wasn't worth the money. They only accept cash for payment. Overall, the service was average with a rating of 3 out of 5. The atmosphere was also rated 3 out of 5. The total cost per person was between £10-20.

Nice food, did leave me really thirsty in the night but this isn’t uncommon for takeout. Pricey but most things are these days. I would go again Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20
