Bruster's Real Ice Cream - Harrisonburg

It's almost a shame that Bruster's doesn't make wedding cakes. One of the best in making ice-cream no matter the location. None can compare. If you're in town and want to really treat yourself, get some ice cream here.

Loved it! So much variety. Spacious, clean seating area. Reasonably priced given the size of the desserts. Great place.

This location is a typical franchise situated in a prime area. However, the ice cream was excessively sweet and reminded me of what you’d buy at the grocery store. The storefront could benefit from a refresh; it's a bit cluttered with too many posters and promotional materials. A more effective approach would be to simply showcase the flavors, provide a clear diagram of the different styles, and include a few photos of the signature items. I'm giving it five stars because it’s a franchise, and most of these issues are out of the talented staff's control.

There’s no place in Harrisonburg that provides better ice cream or prices! My friend Amanda has been a wonderful addition, always kind and making an effort to chat with my grandsons and me. The ambiance is charming, and the staff is excellent! It’s my favorite summer spot!
