The Pour House - Harrison

Very nice and clean nice crowd friendly service.Love the decor and atmosphere. Drinks were excellent. I was greeted upon entrance and served in a timely manner. Will definitely visit again.

Just recently moved to Harrison. And wanted to check out the local wine bar. We have been traveling for 5 years and decided to call Harrison home. The building has a nice feel about it and lots of room. The servers are very friendly. The wine selection isaverage and the ones they do have are great. Now for the down side. I say this because I am sure covid might have a role toplay. The selection was limited. No cheese crackers. And out of certain foods. Had a person singing with a guitar and waspretty good. But he definitely needed a microphone because when he was trying to over come the noise level he was as good then.Over all we will come back and hopefully they will have cheese platters.

Charming little café. The iced coffee was quite good. However, the service was lacking—our server only came to our table once during our visit. I almost left without paying because I completely forgot, since she hadn’t checked on us at all. I ended up having to go to the back to ask her for the bill. Aside from that, it’s a lovely spot for coffee!

Unfortunately, we did not receive any check-ins from our server or offers for drink refills. In fact, several employees (four to be exact) walked past us to go outside for breaks without acknowledging us. There were no other tables in the restaurant, yet it wasn't until after 6 PM that our food finally arrived. The taco shells were cold and undercooked. One of my friends asked for a glass of water to accompany her wine, but no one offered to refill our other drinks. Two different servers delivered our food, but neither asked how our evening was going. They brought us three glasses of water, which I took since my tea was empty. No one returned to check on our meals. If they had, we could have mentioned that our taco shells were cold and rubbery. It wasn't until nearly 6:30 that someone came to our table to give us our checks, and she didn't inquire about our dinner experience. We had to voice our dissatisfaction with the meal ourselves. She seemed shocked, saying that everyone loves their Shrimp Tacos. No apology was offered for our experience. It took her over ten minutes to come back for the checks, again with no apology. When she returned, there was still no acknowledgment of the food issues. We didn’t flag down our server because we were the only table in the restaurant, and four employees were present. We were seated by the front door, and they had to walk past us to take their breaks. As someone who works in customer service, I understand that things can go wrong, but I believe in the importance of making things right—customer obsession, as I call it. I firmly believe in giving businesses a chance to rectify their mistakes. If they had been overwhelmed and short-handed, that would have been one thing, but seeing four employees attend to just three guests is unacceptable.

The perfect spot for an amazing time! The staff and patrons are such a wonderful group of people. I made friends with everyone there. The food and drinks are excellent, from the wine and coffee to the delicious homemade salsa. I highly recommend it—10/10!
