Bidrage med feedbackA few friends and us visited this for dinner one evening, and one of the people in our group had a coupon deal. Although the deal does specify one can't include seafood in the choice of dishes, it does not exclude other items on the menu. Once the waitstaff were told of the coupon, we were told that certain dishes were not included / or not available.Anyway, we soon got our food orders placed (some roti, naan), some entrees, a few mains, and some dessert. The papri chaat was average, but the quantity was really small. The chill-chicken was so-so (I've had better in other places down the street). The Goat dish and the Rogan Josh looked and tasted the same (probably the same gravy), the paneer was ok. They served the entrees in a reasonable time-frame, but had to wait for over an hour after that for our mains. We did remind them on numerous occasions, but that made no difference. I'm not even sure if they served all our breads or not, the roti was asked for without any butter / oil, but we never quite got that either. And the ras-malai had no 'malai'; just a watery syrup. Unless they get their act together, I suspect this place will not last very long. There are far better places to eat Indian food in Harris Park. I will certainly not be eating here again.
We visited this place through entertain book.never knew about this place till then. Food is good but service is very slow. And when we went to pay the bill and asked for the offer advertised by these people on entertainment book all the response we got was they dint advertise it. The waiter called owner who was quite rude.end of the we had to pay full amount :(. Thorough unprofessional. ....we liked the food..would have been regular customers..but not now. One bad experience is enough. Couple of friends also had same issue.they were told that entertainment book offer is available only for dine in n not takeaway.we dined in still no discount :(
To start with - the order was slow, took a bit of time to bring the entree and the mains. big room for improvement.Food was alright, tasted better than a few others in this area. The tables are clean and comfy. Portions were alright for the prices charged
I tried their food as a random choice, Excellent food and affordable price. Good Tandoori Chicken and Nan.Chicken Curry was good. and Chowmeen and Veg Fried rice was nice.
We ordered takeaway from this restaurant using Groupons with a lot of aprehension, basically because the quantities supplied were very poor and also that being a new place, but we were quite pleasantly surprised with the friendliness of the people and the freshness and taste of the food..We ordered for 6 people but the quantities suppied were only enough for 4 but we had paid for 6 by Groupon vouchers. The person at the restaurant on phone agreed to sort it out for us and we hope he does. Now, coming to the food, we had ordered a vegetarian meal and the entree's were finger licking good. We had ordered 4 curries for the mains and while all of them tasted good, there were quite some similarities in the spices used and the taste of the gravy which made us wonder whether these items were individually made and some kind of common gravy was used. The naans/bread basket were fresh and soft but as expressed the quantities were not enough because they had served for 4 instead of the 6 we had ordered. The mango kulfi for dessert was absolutely divine.Overall an excellent place for good fresh and tasty food, but be careful about takeaway orders as I am still unable to understand whether the supply for 4 instead of 6 was a genuine mistake or intentionally done by some waiter/kitchen hand. Only time will prove which way it was based on whether Taza Tandoor honours their word of supplying 2 people's meals that we had already paid. But again, all said and done, I would still highly recommend this restaurant for their food as you will not be disappointed.
