Oyster Harlingen Tx

Laura was our server, and it wasn't very busy for a day off. I had shrimp and fish on my mind, and my mother joined me for the meal. The fish and shrimp were delicious! Many thanks to the oyster bar for a wonderful dining experience.

This restaurant holds a special place in my heart as it was where my partner took me for our first date nearly 40 years ago. It brings back wonderful memories. The menu has evolved to offer an even better selection of seafood. Our favorite dish remains the fried shrimp. I enjoyed the soup and salad, which did not disappoint. It was a perfect combination of fish and shrimp in a delicious broth, accompanied by fresh carrots and a salad with house dressing on the side. Next time, I will definitely try the shrimp tacos!

We visited the restaurant on Friday, and my colleague experienced an issue with her order. She wasn't too concerned about it, but the waiter, along with what I believe was the owner, went above and beyond to resolve the situation and ended up comping her lunch, which was a pleasant surprise. They genuinely care about their customers and strive to provide exceptional service.

They are all oysters were the best part of the meal by far, they love when served on ice. the rest of the meal was average, good, but only average.

Had fish and shrimp plates. Both were okay. The fries were not salted. The side salad was iceberg lettuce with two slices of tomato. They added a red onion ring on top. Overall the meal was average.
