I've been going here for a while pretty regularly, and at first I really liked this place. It's pretty clean, the vegetables were really fresh, there was a good variety, masala tea is included on the buffet. However, it's been steadily going downhill. I think I started to notice with the fruit and salad, then the vegetable dishes, and now the meat, soup, and rice. I usually arrive soon after they open, so the food should be fresh, but it looks like it's been sitting under the heat lamp all day. There is a picture on Yelp of rose milk on the buffet, but I haven't seen it once since I've been going. This is all pretty disappointing considering there isn't much competition in the area. I have felt sick on two occasions recently after eating here and I feel like there's probably some correlation. I probably won't be back unless things improve.
Overall good variety of Indian food. We've ordered take out from here several time with a variety of dishes like eggplant, the spinach and cheese dish, different naan and alll are cooked with good ingredients with the right spice level. Also the dishes are very authentic! Bottom line..good place for Indian food. Takeout packaging is good and easily transportable
Loved eating at Aman's, since they opened the first restaurant in East Norriton. Unquestionably the best Indian food in the area, excellent service, and very clean restaurants. It's also nice have a branch open up close to home for takeout. The only reason I do not give it 5 stars is the dinner portions relative to the price. Lunch is all-you-can-eat amazing food for $13/person, so spending twice that on dinner where the entree portion is frequently small enough that you find yourself counting the pieces of meat is a bit disappointing.
My 11 year old son wanted to try curry so I took him here. The restaurant is fairly nondescript in decor but pleasant. It took a little longer than expected to get our orders in. We had the regular chicken curry dish and their tomato soup. My son and I are very capable of handling hot food so when we ordered I asked for the hottest they do and he asked medium. The waiter told us we better scale each down a bit and I begrudgingly agreed. When the food came it was good but the heat level was very disappointing. Frankly the medium hot wasn't hot at all. The food was good nonetheless and we will return but will stick to our guns on heat level!
